Rector's Address to the Participants of the ForumDear guests of the capital of Belarus!
Dear participants of the Xth International Forum of student choirs "Paparat-kvetka BSU"!
We heartily welcome you, the young generation of Belarus, Russia and Lithuania, with the opening of this wonderful creative competition!
Each year Forum builds confidence and understanding between people of different countries, gives the audience the joy of communicating with interesting and talented artists. The choir sound is a kind of united sound symbol of the world. Nothing unites people like art.
Our forum is well known for choir fans not only in Belarus. Every year, the competition gathers 200 participants from all over the world, and this year is just the same. Folk songs in the original processing, hymns and famous foreign works adapted for choral performance always sound on the festival stage. Here, youth groups demonstrate the best achievements of choral art, create an atmosphere of great music event!
This year, for some participants it will be debut, for others - a warm meeting with old friends. But one thing I firmly believe that every choir contributes the national choir traditions.
I sincerely wish all the forum participants comfortable and relaxing vacation in Minsk, merited awards and memorable performances!
